In today’s educational landscape, the effective use of artificial intelligence by academic staff is not only a demand of the time, but also a key factor in improving the quality of education, optimizing workflows, and saving valuable time. Processes such as assessment, evaluation, feedback provision, and lesson planning can be organized much faster, more conveniently, and more efficiently with the help of AI. The most important aspect is knowing how to use these tools correctly and purposefully.
With this aim, the International Faculty of Tashkent State Medical University, together with the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology, organized an international master class entitled “Process and Product: Assessment in the Age of AI.”
The invited international expert from the United Kingdom, Marie Harbon-Gruchelska, participated as the keynote speaker and shared modern approaches, opportunities, and effective practical models for integrating artificial intelligence into the educational process.
During the event, the following topical issues were discussed in detail:
-
AI-assisted assessment and effective feedback strategies;
-
optimization of teaching and learning evaluation processes;
-
maintaining educational quality while saving time;
-
experiences of implementing artificial intelligence in modern universities.
This master class provided participants with valuable practical insights into the rational use of artificial intelligence in pedagogical practice, the digital transformation of educational processes, and the implementation of innovative approaches in teaching and learning.
